David Eckel

David Eckel is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker in private practice in Melbourne, Victoria.  David completed Level 1 IFS training in the inaugural Australian training in 2017/2018 with Paul Ginter, and Level 2 IFS training in the USA with Dr Frank Anderson and IFS Founder, Dr Richard Schwartz.  David has multiple Masters degrees and is currently completing a PhD focused focused on IFS and adult attachment.  David is Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Approved Supervisor and has significant experience in providing supervision and professional training to therapists of various disciplines.  David is passionate about trauma treatment and as well as being trained in IFS, David is trained in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and Polyvagal-informed interventions. https://www.parksidepsychology.com.au/our-team
